Guidelines for Speakers and Poster Presentations

Information for Speakers 

Speech time: 25 minutes for the speech and 5 minutes for questions at the end.

File format: PPT or PPTX, preferably 16:9 ratio (landscape). Contents Rules: The presentation contents must be purely scientific. Showing photos of commercial instruments is not permitted. 

At the Conference: Please make sure you load your presentation in the conference room computer during some of the breaks before your session starts.

Short BIO: Please send a Short BIO, which will be sent to your session’s moderator and will be included in a summary attached to the technical program for all the attendees. The total number of words must be within 100 and 200 words by May 2.

Information for Poster Presenters 

Poster Session: Monday, May 22, 2023 @ 15:30

Size: The poster dimensions must be 90 x120 cms / 35.43" x 47.24" (portrait / vertical orientation)

Title: The title should be the same as in the abstract submitted. We recommend using a minimum of 60 point font size for the title.

Content: 24 to 32 font size is recommended. We recommend to use UPPER and lower case for general content as the use of all-capital text is difficult to read. Avoid using a mixture of type/font styles.

Headings: 48 to 60 point font size is typically best for headings. Graphics: Try to keep all graphs and images no smaller than 10cm x 15cm.

- The Posters Area is located at the back of the main conference room.

- Place your poster in your corresponding space on the board during the coffee or lunch breaks on Monday, May 22, before the Poster Session starts. The complete list of posters with numbers will be available in the Abstract Book. Please check there your poster number. The tape will be provided by the organization.

- All the posters need to remain on the boards until the coffee break of Wednesday, May 24.
